FYI - Past two generation versions of this have issues with audio sync issues. If you only plan to use the built in audio your likely okay.

I have this TV. It blows any other brand under $1500 out of the water. Must get.

Great price for what you get but, then you get screwed on the warranty. Costco has a Samsung in the same price range with 5 years warranty included. Doit
If you use the Citi outside Costco, you get three years warranty. After three, I doubt you care much if it breaks.

Street prices on 55" OLEDs are close to $1000. They can't be touched by any LCD.

The only thing that makes me stay away from OLED is the screen burn in issues. I keep my tv on 24/7 usually.

The newest ones don't have those issues. Even consumer grade LCDs will start to deteriorate in a few years if you keep it on.

Source: The company I work at never turns off their LCDs and the colors on a lot of the TVs are starting to look washed or drab.

Totally disagree about the new OLEDs. My friend had a C8 and it has burn in in 3 months. He convinced LG to replace it with a C9 and it has just started to get burn in after 5 months.

He's not super careful and does game daily, but he's also not oblivious to it. He had all the screen saver settings on.
