In the remote mountains of Colorado, horrors wait inside Mount Massive Asylum. A long-abandoned home for the mentally ill, recently re-opened by the "research and charity" branch of the transnational Murkoff Corporation, the asylum has been operating in strict secrecy… until now. Acting on a tip from an anonymous source, independent journalist Miles Upshur breaks into the facility, and what he discovers walks a terrifying line between science and religion, nature and something else entirely. Once inside, his only hope of escape lies with the terrible truth at the heart of Mount Massive. ~ persian_mafia
I hate games like this. I can't stop myself from throwing the controllers and running away myself. Too much anxiety my dudes
No VPN needed, just switch your region to Mexico, buy the game with PayPal, and then switch back and play it like normal, change your region under your profile at www.my.nintendo.com
Word of advice if you find this game disturbing, never play a horror game in VR (seriously, it takes that feeling to eleven) .

Really great game if you're into horror games. More of a sneaking/stealth/hide and seek type game. You will mostly be running and sneaking past people, so if you like shooting horror games, like Resident Evil, may not be for you.

Agreed. You're helpless for most of the game unlike other horror games and the only option is to run. Gives me way too much anxiety but if that's the feeling you're looking for then these games will definitely give you that hit of adrenaline.

I have yet to play Amnesia for more than a few minutes because the developers did such a terrific job in creating the atmosphere that I have anxiety almost immediately.
I CAN disconnect myself (like I do during horror movies) and only get surprised by jump scares in the process, but the entire point of playing games is to feel immersed, and if I take that away, I will no longer have any interest.
I don't know if I will be able to disconnect myself from a VR game.
Can I purchase it on the Mexico eShop and play regularly on my USA account using a VPN?

Not a particularly scary game in my opinion, as you just run in the opposite direction and are fine. I think it would have actually been more tense, if you had limited supplies and had to fight off enemies. That's what makes Silent Hill, Resident Evil, and other games of that style scary/great, is you are absolutely worried you may not be able to make it to the next area if you don't preserve supplies. It's either adapt or die, but there are just some confrontations you cannot get past without fighting, which again detracts from this game, Amnesia, etc. as you can just run away.
