so yes, the car seat isn't meant to carry your child in, but it's meant for older kids who don't need to be carried in an infant car seat anymore. I would highly recommend the four-in-one, because it means you won't have to change car seats as your kid grows.

A friend of mine advised against the Graco 4ever 4-in-1 car seat on sale a few days ago. His argument was that it cannot be moved around as easily and will have to stay in car. So now I am looking for travel systems with portable car seat to move the baby around for initial pediatrician appointments etc.
Only the Polar color will show an additional discount in cart. Use the unique promo code from your email after signing up and it will come out to $84.26.

I actually have three of the four-in-one seats, they are great for when your kid outgrows the infant car seat. So I would still recommend getting one, but also have the base for an infant car seat and the little infant carrier until baby grows out of it. The four-in-one isn't really hard to convert, especially if you have the metal rungs built into your car for the latch connectors that are built into the car seat. Most newer cars have them.

Travel systems are great! We had the modes graco travel system for our first one he's two now. 2nd one on the way and we are looking into a different travel system as the graco didn't really hold up too well.

So would you recommend getting both 4in1 car seat and a travel system with infant carrier? Please recommend a travel system as well.
Thank you for your comment. May I ask what didn't hold well with Modes? I was looking to buy it for our first one. Also, which one would you recommend?
We bought a Britax infant car seat with the base and used a Britax stroller you could click the car seat into! That was the brand recommended to us as new parents, it worked out well! Right now though, with the second on the way we have a Graco snug fit or something like that, infant car seat and we'll use it with this double stroller I just ordered! That way our son can play with his brother in one stroller! 😎👍
We did Graco snugride 30 with an extra base for the other car for our toddler
And yeah, That's what we did, I bought the four-in-one from a slick deal whenever I knew that we were pregnant. And we just kept it stored until he got old enough to fit into it. Then switched out the infant car seat / base and put in the forever one. I ended up getting another forever car seat for my car, so that we had one in each car. Now with a second one on the way we have a third one and Will wait to use that until baby number two gets big enough!
What about the timing of these purchases relative to the big day? I almost pulled the trigger on 4ever DLX from Graco but the combination of what my friend suggested + ~4 months to the big day stopped me.
