Tons of options out there for these chairs at this price range. Not sure why this house brand is so special. Overpriced starting price.

Not doubting you, but are you talking about 'after season' or during a clearance sale? Because there doesn't seem to be a solid option for a decent chair in the $8-$12 range.

I can only find the cheap 'throwaway' chairs for $6 each (Academy sports) or a slightly better option at $19.99.
.
Anyway, any links to those would be appreciated.

These are amazing chairs. My family loves the mittens, but I'm more impressed with the side walls as they block out wind, plus they have storage pockets. Also the flip out cup holder is sturdy - meant to be able to hold hot drinks. We use them all year round. All that said, I got them on winter clearance for $8 ea several years ago, so I'm excited to this day at the deal we got, so maybe that adds some bias from me 😋

edit - Scratch that, these aren't the chairs. mittens only. not worth it.

My MIL has two of these and when the chairs go out these are always the favorite of what goes out, however, $24 seems high for me.

Edit: I made the same mistake as Purple did above. Her's have the sidewalls and all. Definitely seems high.

Just wait for walmart clearances. You can get the fat man chairs for under $15 in XXL size all the time. I buy them everytime they go on sale and I've got quite the collection going when camping or fishing.

I've never camped in the cold so don't take this comment seriously, but I cannot imagine it'd be very fun sitting in the snow strapped to a chair because my hands need to be in the built in "mittens" to be comfortable

These would've been good for kids' sports. Brisk mornings on soccer sidelines wrapped up in blankets...

I saw some decent looking chairs from the same brand and it came with a cup holder as well for like $5 at Walmart a few days ago, they felt a little small but still good if you're looking for a more affordable price

Anyone who has these, do the mittens sop up water? They look like you couldn't leave these in the rain without the mittens being soaked in water.

What is the difference between this and wrapping a blanket around yourself?
