The ST190 drivers offer Mizuno's lowest spin rates and incorporate every known factor in the quest to enhance ball speed and driving distance.  Mizuno's ultra-fast Forged SP700 Ti face now boasts a lighter CORTECH structure to deliver consistently higher ball speeds. -slickdewmaster

Rockbottomgolf has the Mizuno ST190 Driver on sale for $170.09 before tax. Use code YEBJR8ZS64 to take off an extra $18.90. Shipping is free.

It was voted as one of the best drivers in 2019 by golf digest. https://www.golfdigest.com/story/...the-driver.

They have regular and stiff shaft options.

From my research that is it the cheapest it has been.

Never swung a Mizuno driver before, but I feel like I'm losing some distance with my Taylormade sldr driver. Would this be a decent upgrade?

You should probably get fitted to see which driver is ideal for you. There's a lot of variables to consider. Perhaps you need a little bit more loft to get a little more height on the ball. Or perhaps your swing is fine and need a little bit less loft and it'll get you more distance. Or maybe switch the flex of the driver. Or length. There's no way to tell whether this driver is right for you unless you test it out and/or get fitted.

I bought this driver for around 200 bucks at the start of the season. Was swinging a callaway before and I really love this mizuno driver. If you're upgrading from a driver 5+ years old like me technology has come a long way recently and I bet you would like pretty much all the new drivers but this one I'm glad I bought.

Without testing it at a store, for a taller noob person would this be a good driver?

Honestly, I don't have much experience with Mizuno clubs. But I very rarely buy a club without trying it out. A proper fitting is always your best bet but obviously tough in the current climate.

Thank you! I saw actually the other Cobra sale, but faced the same conundrum of not knowing what I am going into and paying even more, granted for a much more popular higher level gear. I think the opportunity cost with this one is lesser
