I'm sure there's somebody who plays Smash Bros. who claims to notice some amount of lag, but really they probably didn't push the right button fast enough 🙃
Why do things just seem more attractive when they show up on slickdeals? If I came across this while browsing Amazon, I probably would have just skimmed over it. Instead, I saw it here and got jedi mind tricked into purchasing it!

There was a very slight amount on the one I got for smash. I went with a wired adapter instead. No complaints with the wired.

Probably not relevant to most people - I was interested in using an original NES controller with this, but all of the older console mentions are the new "classic" and not original versions. Just a heads up.

For fighting games that require zero input lag, just plug in the adapter with a micro USB cable. Doesn't require batteries when you do this as well if I recall.

I use the Retro Fighter Warrior version with wavebirds. Wireless on top of wireless, and there is no lag. FYI to those with wavebirds, they do not fit with these 8bitdo adapters. That is a weird oversight by 8bitdo.

Anyone who claims there's a lot of lag doesn't understand that GameCube controller have the most amount of lag out of all switch compatible controllers when when wire connected. If smash players really cared that much theyd use the pro controller
