Monoprice has both the white and black version of its 5 port USB desktop charger [monoprice.com] on sale for $33.99, but only the white has free shipping. I have a couple of these already and they work well -- they're relatively compact, but still have USB C for my laptop or iPhone with 4 ports left over for various USB charging.

By my math up to 20V x 3A = 60W on the USB C port, but pasting Monoprice's specs below for reference.

Hey, don't you think there's enough rudeness online already? Don't bring that crap here.

"PD" a specification that works with USB 2.0 and 3.0 but requires USB-C due to the communication pins used by the standard.
I do not agree at all. It's perfect for me and I think most people as a desktop charger. USB-C for the high power PD port. USB-A is the most versatile for all the others because everyone has USB-A to Lightning, Micro, and C cables.

But, If you need multiple high power PD ports, you are right, this one is not for you.
I think I paid about $27 for this a few months ago, but it has replaced all the individual chargers I was using at my desk. I don't know the charging rate for the ports, but I've charged a MacBook Pro, a Pixel 3a, and an iPad via the USB-C port fairly quickly. The standard USB ports charge fine too. The only thing I don't like is that the two plastic feet that you can choose to use to stand it up vertically are flimsy.

All 4 USB-A ports are Quickcharge 3 compatible according to the Q/A. Looks like a very convenient form factor for my uses.

At least a few of those should've been USB-c
This looks not great for this day and age.

Anyone know how the 80W is distributed through the 5 ports? 60W for the USB-C and 20W shared through the 4 USB-A ports?

This unit replaced multiple chargers I used to carry around. Charges my Dell laptop (PD USB C), Samsung phone (and my SOs) on quick charge while also charging headset, etc. Very light and portable with fairly long power cord.

Thumbs up to the OP. Pretty hard to find a USB charger & hub with PD feature at this price point. (Especially from a reputable seller like Monoprice).

Lowest priced shipping on the black colored one is $4 but it's slow and takes a week. They do have 3-5 day shipping available but it's nearly 3X higher.
It's too bad the black one doesn't have free shipping. Frown

On second thought, I may wait a little longer. Amazon will have another AMEX MRW (membership reward point) promotion coming up soon so I'm gonna capitalize on that deal maybe.

PD stands for Power delivery, some smart phone and laptop support it, so you can use a PD charger instead of the one that comes with laptop.

Got this when this was on front page back in December - paid around $23. It can charge my laptop through PD and my phones through the USB ports at the same time, which is very convenient. Occasionally it briefly stops sending power to one or more of the USB connected devices, if the laptop draws too much power.
