If you are using a non sprint SIM card make sure to update the network settings using the phone dialer. Make sure your sim is inserted into the phone, open up the phone dialer app, dial ##72786# this will restart your phone the correct network settings for your sim card
For non Sprint users, NOT recommend to buy this phone.
1) 5G will not work any more for this phone.
Sprint 5G has been abandoned with the merge of TMO and Sprint.
2. VOLTE will not work for BYOD users
Service providers use 4G LTE (HD voice) for calls. 2G has been turned off in 2017. all big fours have own 3G turn off schedule, like Verizon end of 2020. Without LTE, you will face big problem.
3. Bootloader still locked for NOW.
unlocked phone can only use VOLTE when bootloader is unlocked then flash provider's firmware. There is no way out yet until some geek figure out how to unlock bootloader.
4. Seller only do partial refund for return
Do not trust the return policy. Search the last deal and you will find seller's trick.
Will this work fine on Tmobile and ATT?
Is it much better than the v40?
Been thinking about either getting a used v40, now that the lg g8 used has gone up in price.
Coming from a z2 force, I liked that both phones are one to two generations faster, and both have a larger screen.
Is this better? $339 with code GG60

I don't know of any flagships from the past couple years that aren't. When did you last buy a phone?
I have a LG G6 phone. I tried to get on the Verizon/Yahoo deal they said my phone wouldn't work because it was gsm. From there I thought phones were either gsm or cdma
The phone in this thread is the V450PM (Sprint), the one you linked is the V500N (Korea) per sellers descriptions
Good catch, thank you for keeping me honest!
Do you know if there is any difference other than the bands between the three versions outside Sprint?
I am interested in the phone, my carrier is AT&T and I am fine with having only 4G. Would I be happy with the Global or Korean version or should I look for only the US version?

Thank you. This should be the deal posted. I have no idea why you got a thumbs down, it comes from reputable seller and has buuyer protection
too risk to buy Sprint gms unlock phone.
I have LG v20 and it is unlocked by sprint.
However it keeps lock the GSM.
now it locks again. google it. so many issue. it might not be happening again but i wont risk it.
Same thing happened to my Z2 force Sprint phone after my wife did a factory reset... Luckily I was able to to root and unlock it. Sprint will not unlock again if it isn't active on their service even though phone was purchased outright and originally unlocked by them after being on their network 12 months.

Warning: 5G may work now on the Sprint network but 5G functionality will be lost when the transition to T Mobile is complete.

Edit: found this comparison site: https://www.kimovil.com/en/freque...-v50-thinq
If those bands are to be believed, then the big boxes for AT&T should be checked with the Korean version, as the carrier mainly uses B2, B4, B12 and B17 for LTE which are all provided by the Korean variant.
