Is there a misprint? Ethernet says upto 100 while WiFi is 1200 combined?

When in doubt, it's always a good idea to consult the product page on the manufacturer's site:
https://www.tp-link.com/us/home-n...ifications

The Ethernet ports on this router are as follows:
1× 10/100 Mbps WAN Port
4× 10/100 Mbps LAN Ports

The 1200 Mbps figure comes from: "Simultaneous 2.4GHz 300 Mbps and 5GHz 867 Mbps connections for 1200 Mbps of total available bandwidth"

I have an older, unopened 300 mpbs TP-Link router that I was going to use as an access point on my porch to extend my signal to needed areas. Would I notice any difference with this instead (for streaming video)? Not into gaming.

So at 2.4Ghz this has a max speed of 300Mbps? To get faster you would need to connect to the 5Ghz band?

I'd skip. The TPlink C8 deal a couple weeks ago had much better value. 3x3 mimo vs 2x2, better range and beamforming for $10 more.

Can I connect 2 or 3 of these routers together for better range?

would def depend on your needs.
speed here is about 55down and 10up, but if you have > 100mbps speeds, get another router.
No issues with 2.4ghz and 5ghz
multiple devices connected, phones, laptops, firestick
I sometimes do notice a blip / lag while gaming when someone is FaceTiming / video calling
other than that, no issues and would recommend for the price

also consider range, which I can't speak much of as I live in an apt

My tower is WiFi 5 (AC), my company provided laptop is WiFi 5 and my Samsung 9000 series TV is connected over ethernet - this is a great replacement for my unreliable Netgear Wifi 4 router
