Good deal on the fan if you price match it with Amazon's $79, this is the same deal as the Lowe's one last month: https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWAL.../312908550

There may be a couple deals in the mix, but HD isn't reflecting the true bare tool price. The XR compact recip saw has a MSRP of $179. In this sale it's $200 with the "free" gift. The bare tool without the "free" battery is $158 right now at HD.

It bugs me when retailers play these price fudging games.

Any chance the battery is returnable? Don't need it but would like some cheap tools.

Usually home depot is pretty good with returns. If the battery is in a separate package, you may be able to get away with "losing" the receipt and getting store credit back from them for another purchase. I wouldn't put money down on that working though.

A bunch of the ridged deals people would return the combo item and get an overall discount. Anyone have a receipt they can share?

That's fraud.

The honest way to do it is to purchase the two individual skus (if available) and return one for the prorated amount listed on the receipt.

I only buy tools with "free batteries" I think I have 10 tools and 10 charging stations...kinda silly. I've been looking to add this circular saw to my collection. Seems like the standard SD that comes around every month or so.

I would try to sell the charging stations for a few bucks each on eBay,

Has anyone bought and used the 15% off coupons on eBay? Are those legit and valid?

I own this 6.5 saw. It is very power hungry when compared to 7.25 brushless.
