I recently played Far Cry Primal, and that is the only title I have played in the series. Do most of the games operate similarly? I found it to get boring toward the end as all
I was doing was raiding camps and doing mundane missions.

Never played that one, but most reviews said it wasn't that great even though that is the formula for most of the games. I loved FC3 and everything after that has felt very same-y, but still fun imo. Looking forward to FC6 and buying New Dawn now.

Yup, it's pretty much the same 3-5. 3 started the formula and it became so popular they implemented and slightly tweaked and improved on the following games. They do get repetitive but I still enjoy them. I really did like Primal though. It was a refreshing setting and for once doing mostly only melee combat.

I would suggest you play start with 3 and then decide if the rest are for you.

Picked up FC5 Season Pass. Heard mediocre things about it but I love all the Far Cry games and for $9 I should get my monies worth.

All of them have an amazing story line and the ending depends on the options you choose.. that said .. Far Cry 4 is my fav, the villian personality is so well done.
