How is this compared to Dyson V10 in terms of cleaning performance? With this much cheaper price, I could have a couple of backup batteries. My V10's battery drains in two days which I am not very impressed with.

People always ask if another brand of vacuum compares to Dyson vacuums They don't, which is why everybody tries to compare vacuums to Dyson. The only exception you're going to find when it comes to cordless are Shark vacuums on hard floors, in which case they do better than Dyson. I have a Dyson cordless, and Shark cordless, and corded, and at least 10 other vacuums and use the Dyson more than the rest combined. I have a lot because I used to sell and repair vacuums and I like them. Smilie

I've used Dyson corded and cordless vacs for over 15 years. Over the past few years, competitors have really caught up to the point that the performance is comparable, especially cordless models.

You have to remember that Dysons are 2-3 times the price of competitive alternatives. Do Dysons perform 2-3 times better? Nope. Do they last 2-3 times as long? I doubt it. Do I like my Dyson? Yes. Will I buy another Dyson when my current one dies? No ways. It's not worth the price.

Can it stay upright on floor? If no, it's a deal breaker as not all want to hang it and fix it at one place over wall.

From what I've seen on paper, similar runtimes on high <10 min, hot swappable batteries (feature on some v11 models only), and dubious build quality (some rubber floor contact piece fell off a head in a review). Suction power I have no idea, but as long as it has cyclonic action in the chamber it should be fine to avoid clogs you get with old school hand vac designs.

Dyson is no longer 2 or 3 times more expensive now. So your point here is irrelevant nowadays. You can always find it on sale or go to places like Costco.
