I use this to record my B-roll and A-roll for my Youtube channel. I sold my M50 for it and have not regretted it. This is a solid deal and cheaper than the pre order price.
One word of caution, like the RX100 line, these eat batteries so do yourself a favor and get the $20 3 batteries and charger for $20

You can also charge and power of off USB with a battery present, but it may hypothetically run down the battery if you do something that needs more juice than the USB provides, and also takes up the USB port. I've been running a RX10 series camera off USB power in a streaming setup for upward of a year.
