Bought this earlier this year at $50. Very cheap quality, almost like kids toys. Good as a temporary set but they do not last. Food sticks easily and its easy to get burn marks on the bottoms. Could try using bar keepers friend every cleaning.

I got a different experience. We had the Costco non-stick cookware SET(expensive, big set), Once we want to transit away from the painted surfaces(non-stick etc) to stainless steel, we have tried this set for $30 few years earlier.., We have dumped our Costco set, have been using this all the time. I am in the market for few additional items like bigger fry pan etc.
I am happy with these.. for $30, its a STEAL of STEEL.

Got this on the last sale. It is working for me while I teach myself how to cook. I usually get stains if I don't clean up immediately. The handles require mitts otherwise you will utter new cuss words. ;P I will not pay 200 plus for a different set while I learn.

Once a pan geta burnt it will burn every time, It doesn't necessarily have to be the cooks fault because the pan could be flawed or just not a good pan. There are different pans for different levels of cooks. If you want to make grill cheese, french toast and spaghetti this is adequate. If want pan seared scallops maybe not but I have no idea because i dont have these. You don't have to break a pan for it not to last. I bought a pan for $18 that I thought was okish byt 1st time using it ine spot got scolding hot while the rest of the pan was warm so I trashed it because it wasn't going to work for me and i bought it out of tiwn so i wasn't driving an hour to get $18 back.

I have tried a lot of pans from tools of the trade.. HORRIBLE QUALITY! not worth even a penny.
I got a similar deal at Macy's for a Cuisinart stainless steel set, been using it for 7 years now.. excellent quality! Works well, cleans well, stores well!

Stay away from tools of the trade!

They rust and stain very easily even when cooking with low temperatures and using nonstick alternatives such as butter and oil.

Steel is little thin, but lasted for 3 years. Better than Ikea one's. old one's are still fine, but Just replaced them since the price is good.
