Good quality. Bought one years ago, and odd as it may sound, it has been a very good tool to have on the few occasions its been needed. Pulling small seals, scrapping rust and dirt out of lock cylinders and cleaning tartar off my bottom teeth.

It shows $7.98 to me. Is this an in-store clearance item?

I have had this set for a couple of years and can attest to the fact that although I haven't used all of them, I have regularly used two of them in instances where I've needed them. Great set and excellent price for it!!!

I have these that you linked, as well as plastic handled ones that look more like a screwdriver. The plastic handles come off under hard use, so I find the all metal, dental type much more useful.

One word of warning - I've used the metal ones on hot 12v automotive circuits as they work great for releasing pin-type connectors....except for that one time where I crossed a ground and a hot connection with this pick. It heated it quickly and burned a nice notch in my fingertip that was there for 2 weeks.

It's amazing how little amperage can do despite relatively low voltage.Better burn the skin than the electronics that adds more work and cost.

I wholeheartedly endorse (dental or otherwise) pick sets.

I have an old leatherworking tool that does wonders at getting into tiny spaces, and if get one of these sets, I might be able to put my mom's leatherworking tools back before she notices.

These are not as strong and maybe too sharp for pulling o-rings or hardened rubber gaskets.
Great for cleaning mouse and keyboard though Wink

Not only that, but their pick set with plastic handles is a bit larger and stronger. Better yet find another manufacturer with individual small metal handles. If you are seriously pulling seals, twisting the picks and putting actual torque on them, this Craftsman will leave you longing for real tools. You're better off with a set with individual handles rather than having the interchangeability of this set. It's frustrating when you're trying to reach and pull in a tight place only to have the handle unscrew. I'd rather light $4 on fire than have these pick sets in my box.
