Saw this on eBay and didn't notice anyone else posting it - comes w/ TWO 20A 4.0AH batts plus a dual battery charger... batteries and that charger, alone, has to be worth $100, esp considering it's a dual batt charger. 13" is small, but if you have a small-ish yard, this could be a good deal.

This seems like a good deal, esp considering the battery sizes. However, I recently upgraded from a 19" to a 21" mower deck, and saw a noticeable difference in cutting time, even though it was just an extra few inches. All jokes aside, 13" is pretty small, so maybe consider a bigger size if you have a bigger lawn? I have ~.25-.3 acres that I mow. I have the 21" brushless greeenworks which comes w/ 2 2.0 ah batteries and occasionally goes on sale for $199
Cody is saying that even though the blade cuts in a circle, it moves forward and backward only, so it's essentially a rectangular cutting path as you go forward/backward so you can just use the diameter to compare cutting times.

A 13 in mower will cut a width of 13 in as you go fwd and bckwd, a 19 in will cut a width of 19 in as you go fwd and bckwd.

However, the 19 in will technically be cutting in a bigger "square" so you'll have to do less work going forward, but not enough of less work to justify a squared difference. The relative work also depends on the shape and dimensions of the yard.
Agreed about the small size. It will take at least twice as long to cut a yard with this 13" mower as it would with a 19" mower (A = π r2), so this is perfect for dense developments where folks have postage-stamp yards, but I would think twice before getting this if you have something larger.

So if you already have a decent-sized mower, just double the time it takes you to mow and decide if that works for you. If it does, this is a decent deal.

Agreed - I wouldn't use this for my yard, but plenty of people have really small yards that might prefer something like this. It would also appear to be extremely portable, as well.

Do you cut in circles? You do not need π, assuming you mow straight lines and walk the same speed.

Width of your rows is all you need to compare, right?

The circle is the mower blade rotating. A 13 inch pizza vs a 21 Inch pizza in terms of area.

Thanks man, I've been waiting a deal on this for two years. Amazon has the WG779 (14") but price at $249 never drops. Here's the same one as OP's but new ($10 more).

I don't recommend this. It's very weak. I upgraded to the 80v for $399 at Costco. comes with 2 batteries

I'm kinda tempted, all I have is the sidewalk area since I mulched my entire back yard to kill the grass. I want something small and portable, but more efficient than my brushless weed whacker.

20 V is the size of my weed wacker, that gets the job done. Regarding 13"... I would not go any larger using only a 20V battery.

13 inch is too small for single family homes lot size .... but people who has very small lawn in condos with fence ... this would do the work ....

I've never used Worx cordless, but I've used Ryobi, Sun Joe, Kobalt, and a couple other Amazon brands.

Nothing beats E-Go

Ego is absolutely built like a tank. The battery and chargers are very well made. I went ahead and bought the cordless weed eater and was blown away. Way better than my old cordless black and decker.

All that to say, if you are looking for a recommendation for cordless yard tools, ego is what I would go with.

You're not doing a 1/4 acre lot with this thing. These things are like child play toys. If you have a lawn small enough to make use of this you might as well use a reel mower or string trimmer.
