Peacock streaming service will be free for 90 days on several Google platforms, including for all Android and Android TV users, when its debuts on July 15.
Chromecast users will also have free access to Peacock Premium, the service's $5 per month ad-supported tier, for three months. (Peacock Premium will also have a $10 per month ad-free streaming option.)
As part of a prelaunch deal struck with Google, those who sign up for Peacock using an Android device will be able to get three months of Peacock Premium service for free. Normally $5 per month, Peacock Premium will offer more than 20,000 hours of content, or nearly double the amount that is available for the free, ad-supported tier.
An ad-free version of Peacock Premium is available for $10 per month.
The Google deal is a significant extension of the regular seven-day free trial that NBCUniversal is offering those who sign up for Peacock through Apple devices, Microsoft's Xbox or in web browsers. Under the deal, Peacock Premium will be available until Oct. 15, at which point users will be charged the regular $5 per month rate.
After making an account on Android, you'll be able to log in and watch on other devices like iPhones, Xboxes or smart TVs from LG and Vizio. The only difference now is that you'll be able to access the Premium content for free until mid-October.
One place you might not be able to watch Peacock: Amazon Fire TV or Roku. Like AT&T's HBO Max, as of writing Peacock has yet to reach a deal with the two most popular streaming platforms.

I chatted with support - all they could do was give me a 2 month voucher code to try to extend my expiry date but I received error:
You're already on an offer. You'll need to wait until you're in the last 30 days of this offer before you can apply another voucher.
It seems to think my expiry date is still Oct 23! What a pain! I have to apply the voucher on Aug 23 and just hope I don't get billed.
So I would wait until your final month to cancel.
edit: I clicked on the account option to 'restart plan' and that seems to have restored my 3 month free plan. We'll see...maybe I will have 5 months free with the 2 month voucher added...

To actually have your account closed at Peacock:
If you decide Peacock TV isn't for you, canceling your account isn't particularly easy. To switch from a paid plan to the free one, you can do so just from your account settings. This stops payment, but it doesn't "cancel" your Peacock account. So, how can it be done? You can submit a request to NBC through this form - https://privacyportal.o

However, when I enter my promo code it comes up with: "Sorry, your selected product could not be added to the basket. Please try again."
With no contact option via email or chat I'm not sure how to solve this or what even is the problem. The auto chat bot was useless and searching through the help articles was pretty futile too, but I think it might be that I need to add a payment method in order to start the trial. However, short of signing up for the standard 7 day trial I do not see an option to enter a payment method. Is there another way? Or would I have to start 7 day trial, enter payment method and then be able to upgrade to the longer trial with my promo code?
