Yeah I have the digital version of this model. It's super quiet but it definitely doesn't spin super fast. We bought a Hamilton beach to make it through the holidays but it's slow setting is fast and it has a very loud noise however it has double the power of the Kitchenaid. The attachments for the Hamilton beach didn't even make it 3 months and the whisk is broken. The Kitchenaid at least made it 2 years and is a well built machine expect the whisk failing. I'm trying to buy a Braun Multimix which is a whisk and beater in one unit. Can't find one to purchase anywhere since it seems these units are made and imported from Romania.
The KA 7 speed and 9 speed come with 1 pro whisk only while this one comes with only beaters

The 7 speed speed I had was able to beat eggs with the whisk attachment when making fluffy cheesecake for example. While the whisk is optimal I easily feel that the beaters on this could whip as well since they are engineered to be different than conventional beaters. I've just never tried it since there was a dedicated whisk attachment. I do remember I did do it with the beaters when the whisk broke and it was a disaster but I felt I probably screwed something up that day in my recipe. I don't know about the 9 speed and whether it is more powerful since I got a score on the 7 speed at Macy's for $30 a few years back. The Hamilton beach was faster in performance but it doesn't have a delicate control. The Braun is the perfect mix of these two in terms of this. Slow when you need it and gets exceptionally fast on other instances. The reason I'm wanting the Braun is so I don't have to switch attachments. The beaters do both mixing and whisking really well so I don't have to worry about the durability of the whisk breaking on me since it's the beater. It has also got great reviews on sites
