I've been waiting for the price of this hand mixer to drop for a long time since the pandemic, it used to be $49.99, the lowest one was $39.99 recently on Target.
- Target [target.com] has the KitchenAid hand mixer on sale for $34.99, available colors are Empire Red, Green Apple and Blue Ice. You may want to use the $10 gift card from the previous pre-paid card deal.
- KitchenAid official website [kitchenaid.com] has the same price with more colors available.
- Bestbuy [bestbuy.com] has the same price with limited colors available.
- Walmart [walmart.com] only has the Empire Red color available for the same price. - Dead
I just ordered one from Walmart together with the Atomic Analog Wall Clock deal to reach the free shipping threshold, since the one on Amazon is expire.

I got mine on sale around holidays for $29.99 at kohls & most stores had same deal but pandemic has messed up some reoccurring deals. Reg price $50 but I do feel that's hella overpriced. $30-$35 is more appropriate for what u get.

Yeah I have the digital version of this model. It's super quiet but it definitely doesn't spin super fast. We bought a Hamilton beach to make it through the holidays but it's slow setting is fast and it has a very loud noise however it has double the power of the Kitchenaid. The attachments for the Hamilton beach didn't even make it 3 months and the whisk is broken. The Kitchenaid at least made it 2 years and is a well built machine expect the whisk failing. I'm trying to buy a Braun Multimix which is a whisk and beater in one unit. Can't find one to purchase anywhere since it seems these units are made and imported from Romania.

Not a deal. I've had this on my wishlist on Amazon for the past few years. It regularly hits $35.

So which mixer is best for meringue and beating eggs.
The KA 7 speed and 9 speed come with 1 pro whisk only while this one comes with only beaters

The 7 speed speed I had was able to beat eggs with the whisk attachment when making fluffy cheesecake for example. While the whisk is optimal I easily feel that the beaters on this could whip as well since they are engineered to be different than conventional beaters. I've just never tried it since there was a dedicated whisk attachment. I do remember I did do it with the beaters when the whisk broke and it was a disaster but I felt I probably screwed something up that day in my recipe. I don't know about the 9 speed and whether it is more powerful since I got a score on the 7 speed at Macy's for $30 a few years back. The Hamilton beach was faster in performance but it doesn't have a delicate control. The Braun is the perfect mix of these two in terms of this. Slow when you need it and gets exceptionally fast on other instances. The reason I'm wanting the Braun is so I don't have to switch attachments. The beaters do both mixing and whisking really well so I don't have to worry about the durability of the whisk breaking on me since it's the beater. It has also got great reviews on sites

Thanks for the info, I found the braun multimix in crate and barrel but in backorder and also for $80

The KA 7 speeds is $50 (w/10% off) with a whisk attachment.

Not sure what is better buy here

Costco used to or may be even now sells Cusineart handheld blenders - I guess on sale they are like $30 and it has 220W power. It comes with two whiskers and is one hell of a machine. Its holding up very well and it can get louder on the speed 3(top) but not any louder than your regular household blenders. Noise is not too much of concern for me but the vibration was. There is no vibration at all and can use it for more than 10mins without feeling anything.

7 speeds? 9 speeds? Digital?! It's a flippin mixer people. Mom's 4-speed bare bones from 40 years ago whips egg whites into meringue in like 30 seconds. Done. Mixer doesn't need to tell me it's specific gravity and spread it on the pie for me too.
