Okay I bought these a few weeks ago from the same eBay seller. These masks have the worst smell. It smells like melted plastic death. I tried to air them out over several days and it was impossible to use. I DONT RECOMMEND THESE. The BYD brand is the ones to go for

FDA requires that all masks say that now, so they don't have to be "approved." It doesn't mean that they aren't surgical quality. That's why it's a crap shoot with what you are getting. Best way to know is to go by reviews. If people say the outer layer is liquid resistant and the middle layer is melt-blown, that's really the best you can hope for.

If you pull it harder, sometimes it tends to break. But overall I am happy about masks.
