Yup. It's gotten a lot more expensive to play Sims as the years go on (I've been playing since the original). It's to the point where I don't even have the complete Sims 3 yet (waiting for the next Steam sale). I would guess no small part of this is due to Origin holding tightly on Sims 4, and you're locked into their platform for it. At least with Sims 3, you had price competition from places like Steam, but Sims 4 is strictly Origin only. But I'm still paying money (and do own Sims 4 despite my complaints), so maybe I shouldn't say anything.

BTW, some of the expansion packs have codes for an extra $2 off, which makes it cheaper to buy them from Newegg. Otherwise, I'd skip this sale here and just buy directly from Origin (same pricing, no extra off code) since you have to go through their store anyway (unless they've changed things recently?).

Get to Work is $17.99 after coupon. Is that the best price we've seen for this pack?

That's a good sale, TBH I usually get my codes off gray market sites for about the same price or a little more than this.

Good deals except for the luxury party pack, which isn't worth it (I'm told)

Same price on origin - but some of these are cheaper here

Good prices for the stuff packs as they barely go on sale but also keep in mind these more cosmetics and don't add game play.

Expansions add additional maps and lots gameplay (going to work/owning pets/being a vampire)

Game Packs add like a new optional area and little extras (specialty places/buildings like going to a restaurant or bowling)

Stuff Pack adds cosmetics to your game - additional items like furniture in build mode and clothes for the sims in creating sims mode

I personally grabbed the stuff packs codes to gift my friends and a niece.

It appears the coupon codes no longer work, so this is the same price as buying directly via Origin

The Sims 4 is on Steam now, it came on there a few weeks ago. Just FYI.
