For those curious about shucking, couple pointers you should know:

1. These require the SATA 3.3 bypass method (either using kapton tape on a pin on the hard drive, or using a special Molex to SATA 3.3 cable, otherwise it will not power on). For the Molex to SATA cable, be sure that you find a quality cable, and if you find a cable that has the cables going directly into the molding, avoid it as those have been seen in the past catching fire.

2. These drives are not SMR, they are CMR. Only 6TB and below (and some high-capacity enterprise drives) are SMR.
Lets be real, it's not much of a difference. This is priced out $14.62 per TB while the 14TB deals at $200 are $14.29 per TB. If you multiplied $14.62 x 14 = $204.68. WOW, $4 whole dollar difference! hahaha. If you need extra room, just buy this. It doesn't make much sense to wait (possibly) months to spend more and save your $4.
14.62/tb. I think the 14tb has gone for $200 which would put it at 14.29/tb.
Either way, this is pretty good and better than the usual 8tb/10tb deals.

This is it. [youtu.be] 12 free TBs to those who recognized Michael McDonald doing backup vocals on that track.

Is it still a gamble as to whether these are helium or air-filled or is nearly all current stock air-filled now?
