Note you can disable the audio power outage alert via their software, but you do have to have the USB plugged into some kind of computer to do that.

Fiber modem, Google puck, and a Netgear switch
Totally depends on your equipment. I have a unifi setup, PoE to a variety of different APs and cameras. Mine will last around 20-30 extra mins on this unit. Useful for getting off conference calls.
