Highly recommend these for your modem. I have these all over the place to protect my stuff during lightning storms (which are frequent in Florida) but the best use is on my modem. When those lose power even for a split second it takes a while for them to get back online so this prevents that.
WOW! Look at his experience with the warranty...

Great deal for a cheap low-power UPS for auxiliary devices. Picked one up.

Note you can disable the audio power outage alert via their software, but you do have to have the USB plugged into some kind of computer to do that.

Will this be sufficient for a 4-bay NAS?

Totally depends on your equipment. I have a unifi setup, PoE to a variety of different APs and cameras. Mine will last around 20-30 extra mins on this unit. Useful for getting off conference calls.

This would probably give you 20 minutes or so to continue working. The thing with fiber is there is usually an ONT in your garage - sometimes they have a battery backup from your ISP, sometimes they don't. You'd want to make sure that has backup power as well to continue to have connectivity.

My router just broke due to the surge after the lightning last Saturday here in Florida. This is a must for my new router! Thanks a lot OP!
