I feel like most games if not all games are not going to be able to utilize 4k 120 hz.
No. Fake statement
Come on, get real!. Current gen consoles are suppose to do 4k@60Hz, and most AAA games are around 4K@30Hz. No way the next gen is doing 120Hz at 4K! I have a top of the line PC that can do about 60Hz 4K on most games, but not all. We won't be 4K@120Hz for at least 2-3 more years.

Looks like a good TV for gaming, however, I'm holding out for something with HDMI 2.1

I was wondering the same thing.. here's the comparison on rtings: https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/c...eshold=0.1

Honestly, based on that comparison, I'd probably get the 950G over the 900H. It's far cheaper, has higher brightness, better reflection handling and eARC. Unless you really need VRR, HDMI 2.1, and slightly better input lag, they're pretty similar.

Woo nice price, I love my 55" 950G. Beautiful picture, only snag I had was updated software and it broke the smart tv wifi. Next update fixed it though.

This is a Great TV. But, I really believe, unless you are not a gamer, you will want the one (X900H) with VRR and HDMI 2.1. You would be missing out on 4K@120hz on the Next Gen Consoles and in a few months, you may regret not getting the latest TV.

I'm sure you'll get more opinions, but I like the Sony at this price point. I have been shopping for a TV for a few months now and finally pulled trigger on this one.

VRR is still helpful to remove screen tearing and keep games smooth. I don't care about FPS necessarily, but I am super sensitive to screen tearing. I need smooth 1440p / 60fps!
