Prices went up from last sale and the RC263 is still not included... bummer!

Looks like they took my advice, and upped the price a little bit on the bigger items. Although I would like to see the sub a little less. And the RC263 to come back.

Bummer that prices went up. I went ahead and ordered a set of R152 to replace my RS152 that I'm currently using for side surrounds. I want something more directional.

I would have ordered a 2nd R12 sub to replace my Paradigm, but it needs to come down a bit in price.

Have to say I'm very pleased with the R263 towers from the last sale, despite the fact one arrived with a small ding due to the poor packaging. The RC252 center is an improvement over the NHT Zero I had previously, but I'll probably buy the RC263 next time it goes on sale.

How is the Infinity subwoofer compared to Klipsch R12sw?

Last sale, for reference:

Infinity Reference R152 Bookshelf Speakers (Pair) $134.99
Infinity Reference RS152 Surround Channel Speakers (Pair) $134.99
Infinity Reference RC252 Center Speaker $134.99 each
Infinity Reference R263 Tower Speaker $199 each

Prices went up at least 25 bucks across the board, though this time the R162s are included. For those (like me) who are holding out for the RC263 - make sure you have the room for it, it's a BIG speaker. The RC252 might be a decent alternative for a smaller space.

I received the R263s from the last sale just a few weeks ago and I find them to be quite phenomenal, especially for the price.

I'm no audiophile, but the contrast with what I was using previously is stunning. They shine in the highs and mids - low is actually quite a lot better than I had ever anticipated as well.

If you're on the fence, wait no longer - order these!

Oh, and expect shipping to run a bit slow, because it does.

Can anyone recommend some speakers for me? I have a turntable and was looking at Monitor Audio Bronze 1 or 2, but wouldn't mind something more affordable with similar performance. Would any of you guys recommend these over that, or with the sale going makes it a better deal?

Now I'm trying to decide if I should upgrade my R152s to R162s. I use them as side and rear surround.

I use dual subs, so it kinds of seems like a silly upgrade.

Probably not worth it. I doubt you'll notice much of a difference using them as surrounds. In a 2.0 setup it'd be a different story

What does having dual subs have to do with R152 vs R162?

As surround I don't think worth it. BTW, What is you speaker stand for R152?
