If you have a student account with Unidays, you can get this for $332.49 for the 2TB or $170.99 for the 1TB directly from Samsung.

Crazy cheap for this (generally overpriced) drive. Within $80 of the current price of the 2TB EX950.

Yeah I have the pro in my laptop as we speak and have been happy with it.
Wish it would go back to around $200 though Smilie

I went for the 1tb @ $180. Was going to get the WD SN750, but that went back up to $150 and so for $30 more I thought I may as well get the best performing drive

According to CCC this is the lowest price so far for this drive on Amazon. It is $175/TB making it a better price per TB than the 1TB currently at $179.99.

I call upon the powers of Grayskull to make me wait until BF or Christmas.

Tree-fiddy should buy a little more by then. Until then, stuck with 1TB Intel 660p's in those slots.

I've been wanting this drive for a few months now, but it seems to never drop in price until now. I can wait until December if I have to though.

Does anyone think this will drop to a lower price by then or should I jump now? I've been watching it since probably November and it never drops.

Tempting as this is very good deal. I have the prior model 1tb nvme and it has been rock solid for the past few years and multiple machines. I don't buy Samsung TVs but I only buy Samsung names. If I needed it would be no brained. Thanks op

Got this 2TB version exactly a year ago, paid the full price then ($493). Has performed great as expected, but it does run very hot - probably not a good fit for a laptop. I wrapped it in a heatsink with a dedicated fan which lowered the temperature somewhat.

PCIe 4.0 coming out in a couple months so that's probably why they dropped the price.

That's the average price it's been selling on ebay. So beat that impulse buying...
