American Express is offereing Plan and pay feature usualy cost ($) based on your transaction amount is now free for 3/6/12 month plan. I recently purchased Dell Laptop, when i happened to check out this option it was free ($18 Saving).
I've gotten one free Plan-It offer before and used it on a Murphy Bed - which worked great. The next time I had a big expense (Mini Ductless Split AC System), I tried to call and ask for a free Plan-It (just would have been nice). They were unmovable.
Does any AmEx holders have luck inquiring about a free Plan-It every couple years directly to AmEx?
Maybe I'm looking at it wrong, but when I click on the link under offers and click on the calculator tab - it automatically breaks it into 24 payments. Not sure if that means that is my only option but its the same way on both my accounts. It does cap me at a 10,000 purchase.

yeah, so a $2400 purchase would have 24 equal payments of $100 a month.
I've taken advantage of this when it popped up on my two card accounts in the past. Has anyone ever gotten this offer after taking advantage of it once?
