If it is the same one as Amazon, then this was the lowest price. Possibly also available at target for $50. Seems to be well reviewed.

Pretty good if you want a light knife because it is a stamped blade. But it is not as durable as a forged blade. If you want a forged blade, go for the Pro series. If you are not in a hurry, BBB usually has sales for the Pro series during the holidays. I got the one below for $35 during BF sale.

If you like this knife and are interested in a set with block, for $55 more ($95.99 total after 20% off coupon) you can get this knife plus two other knives, shears, honing steel and block.

Realistically you're only saving $10. Amazon has it for $50.

I own this knife. I bought it during a factory sale for more than this price - its a great knife, good balance in the hands, great steel thats also full tang, keeps a sharp edge (not the sharpest knife I own), but its a great everyday 8" chef's knife.I do like the fact I don't have to baby this knife, especially for this price. I would recommend it, if youre looking for a chef's knife. I dont have any negative things to say about this knife.

If you go to their own webpage, the description says it's stamped: https://www.zwilling.com/us/zwill...203-0.html

I own a Henckels 6" Chef knife, not the Pro, but a seemingly better one than this. Should I go bigger? Do do need the extra 2" ?

For what it's worth, I am a professional chef that cuts several hundred steaks a week, and I have owned a wide variety of brands (Wusthof, Henckels, Cangshan, Dalstrong, Shun, etc.), and am a bit of an addict when it comes to different blade and handle shapes. I have had a couple of these at my restaurant for several years. They are pretty good: hold an edge tolerably well, aren't hard to sharpen, the handle has a very comfortable shape. Couple of caveats: I have cheaper knives that hold an edge considerably better (Cutluxe on Amazon is AMAZING, but, alas, there is no 8 inch chef's knife on there now... Thanks, COVID!), and the blade is not very "tall", as in, you will bust your knuckles if you try to mince/chop a lot with it.
