****FWIW I own one of these. LG is very slow to update their drivers bios etc and the wifi on these drop out on the regular. LG also claims you void your warranty if you try to upgrade them. Their customer service is also abysmal. buy at your own risk. some will reply with mine is great.. do some reading on google for their customer service and their driver updates.. you will find what I say above is the reality. Besides for this price you can get slightly heavier albeit way more horse power dell xps from outlet. Spend wisely. Learn from my mistake.*********

******FWIW I own one of these. It's a gem. The Wifi never drops out. I absolutely love it. Buy with confidence*******

Absolutely phenomenal laptop for it's intended purpose and audience.. Believe it or not, there are people who don't need or judge their laptop by gaming or multimedia capabilities.

For people who prioritize ease of portability, battery life, screen real estate, and durability (yes, durability!) this simply cannot be beat.

IMHO, it's 98% perfection. The only two things that could bear improvement are:
1.) Better speakers, preferably upward firing. (And there's plenty of room in the case.)
2.) Center the damn track pad to the keyboard.

Are you listening LG? You are only two minor gripes away from shear perfection!
want it, dont need it, cant afford it.
That's not the intended market for this thin and light laptop

Missed the $1200 deal 4 months ago.

This is not a bad price, however should I wait for the price to come down further. Or is there a possibility for better spec (maybe 1tb) for the same price?

I don't need a Gram at the moment, but like to haul around a super light laptop during travel.

I would rather replace my 2012 Dell XPS 17r SE with this than the current overpriced 2020 XPS 17. I keep finding new reasons to keep it though as gaming wise this won't do anything that my existing system can do. I would like the reduction in weight but I'd have to sacrifice the external storage and the disc drive still comes in handy.

Thanks. You add the 3 additional years of Costco warranty that you get on top of the first year, makes it much more slick. Repped.

This is the laptop I want but still not sure if I need it, you want to play games with it? You need to have a gaming rig aside and connect to it remotely, I would higly recommend parsec gaming for that purpose.

Seems the lowest the previous year's model (256 GB, 14 nm processor) dropped to was $800, and it was only clearance at a few locations in November. Next best time to get is around Christmas. But that's with a new model in earshot. Intel will be stuck on 10 nm for a few more years, so perhaps LG will postpone a 2021 model. What could they possibly do to entice the justification for upgrading?
