Anyone considering buying this needs to watch the film Dark Waters. May want to think twice before supporting DuPont, especially with their Teflon products.
You can achieve the same result with WD40. No need to buy Teflon, a "forever chemical" that gets into our drinking water. Would you want to drink Teflon?
Teflon is used everywhere in your food manufacturing equipment. You just don't see it.
You're all eating it.
I'm not saying that is a good or bad thing. But it is happening because there are very few things you can use that work like teflon/ptfe.
If you want something that works really well without the consequences of teflon, FluidFilm is a fantastic product. I've been using it for years!
Thank you for posting this. I'm pretty ticked that I've lived in Chicagoland for so very long and nobody in my family or circle of friends seems to know about this! Buying a 3 pack of FluidFilm spray from Amazon today. I'll be damned if my cars are going to rust more and bring in huge chunks of snow in the wheel wells that fall out and muck up the garage floor. If this works for the two of us, we're telling everyone in our condo so the poor maintenance dude doesn't have to power wash the floors as often due to melt off.

I used to live in Chicago too! I moved to Wisconsin, found out about it and told all my Chicago family and friends!
