Amazon has tons of fake reviews...the company will give out these products to customers for free in exchange for 5 star review. there's a whole business around this model, i just found out recently.

It has become really bad. Not only they buy 5-star reviews, they have methods in place for flagging 1-star reviews as well. I recently put a 1-star review for a crappy jigsaw puzzle explaining the poor quality of the product. Four days later I found out the review is gone - no email from Amazon about it either. Apparently they have the same army of 5-star flag the reviews as instructed by seller.

So for this I always prefer to read recent reviews instead of best or top rated reviews. The one liner or two liner reviews give me the best clarity of product.

Definitely pass on this and I doubt the actual price is that. Too many people jumping on these earbuds like people jumping on making masks.

I read every single negative review on any product I buy from Amazon. It is more reliable that way than Fakespot which I also use. However I have seen bogus 1 star review and caused me to cancel order. The order couldn't be cancelled on time and it turned out a product I love. That is why even 1 star review can't be trusted 100%.
