When I asked MSI, they answered that there is no problem with the warranty if I add RAM or SSD.

For reference, I'm coming from a 2013 macbook, and a couple of gaming desktops that want to be put out of their misery, so almost literally ANYTHING would be better- but i don't really know anything about current hardware (or previous hardware, really).
