    OP, where does OD advertise its upcoming deals early like this? I know they used to publish their weekly ad on Thurs (to begin on Sun), but no more of that, at least as far as I know.

    FYI for Office Depot ink recycling newbies. People ask the same question in the threads. When I was new to this I asked, so I will answer it now.

    If you do ink recycling the batteries qualify for your $10 spend if you pay for them out of pocket.

    The battery and other merchandise rewards you get quickly. Usually the same day and at the latest the next day.

    The ink rewards you get to spend during the next month around the 10th. So if you do this in August you will get the ink rewards by September 10th.

    I do this deal almost every time it comes along. Needless to say, I have quite a stash. BUT has anybody else noticed - these batteries leak terribly!!! They never used to, but they certainly do now.

    I will pass on these and wait until the offer the Optimum style FAR . . . haven't seemed to have the problem with them thus far.

    Yes. I used to have a few hundred and had to throw them out.

    Since then I have gotten a marine grade box which I found on SD and got more batteries. I have no idea if it will prevent the leaking. FWIW I have had the box and have stashed the batteries in it for 6 months and no leaks so far.

    Also my battery stash is considerably smaller than before. If anyone is curious to the box I have, it's the "Plano Synergy Water Resistant O-Ring Sealed Marine Emergency Box."

    Not to bash your nice Plano box, but that looks identical to a Harbor Freight ammo box, which oftentimes can be had for $4, with a coupon, in store. Only difference being, yours is a shocking salmon color, versus the HF box being OD green.

    You need to set my store to another city and then click on weekly ads. I tried Chicago, IL and Dallas, TX and they worked. Some other major cities I tried didn't show any ads.

    When I VPN to a location in Dallas TX it works BUT must be from a NEW session in Private Browsing(Firefox)



    ....At least that's how I finally just found the ad.
    As soon as I log in to my account(has a local S.FL store as MY STORE) It no longer allows to view other states ads. how stupid!

    100% reward meaning free batteries. Good deal if you need them and have something else to buy using the rewards, otherwise you may end up using the rewards for (=buying) something you literally don't need but just because the reward is expiring.

    If you have a AMEX card with the the shop local offer ( $5 back on $10+), I got the $5 back for buying a OD/OM GC from fluz and used it on the batteries. I got the rewards as well.. The Amex offer has a ten offers limit for a max of $50 back. I found the offer on my bluebird account. Last go around OD/OM had a save 20% coupon and that also stacked and saved %20 on the batteries. You need to install fluz on your cell phone, but it seems legit to me..

    Another user here posted about this info the last go around, and it did indeed work, so thanks to that person..
