The ones listed are series 2 and didn't hit retail much. Series 1 may be 1.50 if you venture into a Walmart. Mine were that low here.

I opened up a hand full of these the other day. Pretty fun little dudes. They are made of tin and have a mouth that swing open wide and you pour in a mix and a texture (like pompom, googly eyes) inside, add water, shake it up (leaks a little, not too messy), and when you move the leg the butt hole opens up and it diarrheas out a very loose slime into a toilet shaped slime container. At first i was a little disappointed of the slime but after 5 mins it thickened up into more a slime putty than just slime. The little dudes made for a good laugh a lot like the funko GPKs vinyl minis. The googly eyes in slime was a first for me and the finial product was pretty creepy.
