If I have to book through 3rd party site, I wont get credit right, I am guessing charge will show up by travel agent and not Marriott?

You can buy a GC and get it, or at least previously things like that work as long as you buy it directly from them. Me personally I'm sitting on a few hundred thousand points and am just hoping they don't file for bankruptcy. Heck, them, Hyatt, and most of the major airlines!

Just thought I put this out there. I found the rate for three nights to be 20% cheaper (could be up to 40%) using the T-Mobile Tuesdays app which is partnered up with Booking.com. I submitted a best rate guarantee claim after I had booked through Marriott.com and got approved. The claim gives you a choice of an additional 25% on top of the match or 5,000 points. Luckily, the 25% additional still puts me slightly over $200 so I can enjoy another $50 off.

What no way didn't know you could do that, i booked through the tmobile and brought my bill from 280 to 230 for 2 nights so saved 50 bucks, but then you're saying i would instead book through Marriott and submit a claim? What do you use for proof? a screenshot from the tmobile link of you at the checkout with price? That way you get an extra 50 back from the statement credit?
