This dryer was previously $749 at Build.com and I used Build.com as a pricematch at Lowe's (YMMV)

Ships freight for $49, so you have to move it and install it yourself.

Currently $949 at Best Buy

I originally bought the dryer at Lowe's, then bought the washer from Build.com. I had a great experience. 2-6 week special order shipped in 10 days and came in 2 days via freight. Freight company they used was R+L Carriers and they were good as well.

The only issue I had was that I never got an order confirmation email, so I highly recommend making an account to track your order.

gas dryers are typically plug and play. just need some rectorseal number 5 gas line putty to go on the gas line connection and check for leaks with some soapy water. also you may be able to get your gas company to come do a safety inspection to make sure you did it right as well.

Wow, what a deal! I got this one from the 50% scratch and dent sale from best buy for more than this. The dryer has been great so far. If you're in need of a gas dryer and don't hop on this, you're crazy.

Is it easy to install? Never done it before. Are there people you can hire to install (and wouldn't negate the price advantage of buying it from here)???

Do you already have a gas dryer you're replacing? If so then it is just removing
gas, vent hose and unplugging (AC for motor). Then new pipe dope and probably vent/vent hose and plugging in outlet.

If brand new installation then definitely a lot more work.
