I've bought a variety of amazon essentials clothing items. Quality has not been consistent across or within items I have tried.

So far I have bought shirts, linen and cotton at this price point, $5 or less, and they have been really decent in quality, and awesome for the price. Hoping this is good quality. Will give one a shot. Thanks OP.

I purchased four pairs of Amazon Essentials pants last week...super SD Deal! High quality, and even Walmart no name jeans cost more. I'm in for one of these sweaters. I agree, like so many deals of yesteryear, seems like Amazon wants to entice us...and hook us. Thanks OK. Oh, btw, after I put my sweater in the cart @ $7.93, I went to add another (same sweater, same color, same size)...it had gone up to $25. Got one while the going was good!

Is that an issue? If a company sees an opportunity and presents value, shouldn't they take it? There is no altruism. Its all business. Those who have been on their laurels should innovate, improve or just get out of the business if they can't compete. Simple. Now, on the contrary, if they stronghold others into submissions and do business the dirty way, that's a different story. But legitimate competition is a good thing.
