Virtual Desktop is a must if you don't have it already for wireless PC play. It does require a beefy computer and a direct Ethernet connection to a solid 5GHz router for the best experience. I have mine on a dedicated 5Ghz network (my router has 2 of them + the regular 2.4) and can get latencies as low as 20-30 ms.
What this means is that games like Skyrim, Alyx, and superhot VR play fantastic in a wireless mode assuming your PC is powerful enough to support it. Rhythm games like beat saber, I would still recommend getting the quest version as the added 30 ms of latency can be annoying for fast paced inputs. In terms of quality and latency VD performs similarly to the Oculus Link experience.
Sooooo lame that Robo Recall isnt a cross buy between Rift and Quest... They do that with too many games IMO. That and they never give large enough discounts. Thats why so far have only bought VR games in Steam.

That said I have not purchased it to confirm 100% but it's on the list so if you bought it and found it was not available on both, you should be able to refund it. The confusion may be that they call it "Robo Recall: Unplugged" in the Quest section is also confusing - but it should be the same game.
Personally I think the Oculus store is a mess right now. Right now they have "FitXR" listed as cross-buy - it is called "BoxVR" in the Rift section and in the Steam store. Essentially the "same" game with cross-buy for Quest and Rift - but different names and now (1) additional DLC for Quest (only?). It's not very clear what's going on in the store.
Add to that the confusion about which games are cross-buy, the fact that at times you can get a cross-buy game cheaper in the Rift section vs. the Quest section, etc.
For Oculus exclusives, we have no choice, but there's a reason I prefer to get my non-Quest games from Steam whenever possible.
