I think on paper the evo plus is better but in real life use, the difference is likely not noticeable

Under $300 Average on ebay. I can see $274 with Heatsink.

I checked eBay before posting. All (I saw about 4 or 5 nvme's) but 1 are sold by private sellers with sub 100% feedback. I'd rather spend a few extra dollars and have the assurance of simply returning it to amazon.

If you are buying this for gaming don't. Its not a gen 4 device. Look at the sabient rocket.

But what if your mobo doesn't support gen 4?

I have 1TB versions of both. Runs Crystal is a mix bag. In actual use performance is also a wash. But the SN750 runs 10-15 deg C higher than SX8200 under normal operation and raise very fast to over 80 deg C under load. While you may get away with the included heat strip for SX8200, you need to plan to use heatsink with SN750. Personally, I would not buy another SN750.

not really a good price when the evo plus is $349. It's one thing when the price difference is big between them... i can see people saying samsung is overpriced then, but when it's only barely over 10% more, the samsung is the one to get.

Plus the 1tb of this goes on sale a lot for $130, so 2tb shouldn't be a deal unless $260.
