I can only get fast charging from one port at a time. As soon as I plug in the 2nd phone the charger turns off fast charging.

Wow, this is a deal breaker for me as I and my wife are charging while we are on the road.

I love the size but we had to switch back to our old charger.

This Aukey works perfect for me because I never need to urgently charge 2 phones and it has both legacy and Type-C ports. To get a flush/mini car charger like this one that can QC two phones, you'll have to go no-name.

Yeah this is only good if you are using one port for quick charging, per the description:

" When using both ports at the same time, they won't fast charge. In this case, the total output of the car charger will be 5V 3.4A (17W)"

Weird they can't charge at 21w since thats what it is rated.

It does 21w pd when using ONLY the usb c port

"USB-C Output: (Power Delivery 3.0) 5V 3A, 9V 2.3A, 12V 1.7A (21W)

USB Output: (Quick Charge 3.0) 5V 3A, 9V 2A, 12V 1.5A (18W)

Max Power Output: 21W (17W using both ports)"

It seems like a waste to even make dual port if you can't effectively use both at the same time. You can get a cheap dual charger with essentially the same specs from Five Below and other retailers at every day price if you will always use both ports simultaneously, anyway.

ie. if the PD/fast charging is your main focus, the 2nd port doesn't help at all since you'll only ever be able to use 1 port.

I have this charger. It works great. The only port I normally use is the USB-C/PD one since we rarely charge two phones at once in the car. The form factor is great because it's not bulky, but it also makes it hard to remove sometimes since it's pretty flush to the car's cigarette lighter socket.
