i have ordered MANY LEGO sets from here and they come in about a week. mine has all been big sets and all came like new, not smashed or anything.
WTF! Every Zavvi thread has people like you. If you don't like the company, stay off the thread. What is it about you low post fools that show up on SD to post crap? People like you are the bane of SD community. I wish something can be done about it.
I ordered the Bugatti, Land Rover Defender and 911 RSR in that respective order. While everything did ship fast and arrive quickly, two of the 3 packages had "issues."

The Bugatti package arrived and looked like it had been sitting in water. The water had soaked through to the LEGO box, as the shipping box was pretty much the same size as the LEGO box. However, all the inside packaging was completely dry. Although it did take a couple weeks of back and forth with their customer service, we ultimately arrived at an acceptable resolution.

The Land Rover Defender box arrived in pristine condition. Nothing to complain about on this one.

The Porsche 911 RSR arrived, and it was clearly repackaged with DHL tape. I'm assuming it was inspected by customs, so I wouldn't count that as a complete negative. However, upon opening the package, the LEGO box itself was clearly smashed in the middle, probably due to the fact they pack them in boxes that are virtually the same size as the LEGO box es themselves. The LEGO box tape was all still intact though. It wasn't damaged to the point where it was worth the hassle having to file a claim with customer service. I figured I could justify it by the savings I got from the deal.

Just thought I'd add in my personal experience with Zavvi. Would I order again? Probably... If the savings was worth it. If they discount the Lamborghini Sian set they just got, I'd order that in a heartbeat.

Apparently results are hit or miss with this website. Boxes showing up smashed, poorly packaged. I ordered a movie over a month ago from them and still haven't received it.

I have ordered large sets as well. They ship pretty fast from the UK to US, less than a week.

I ordered this last month and they shipped it fast via DHL. I am happy with the set.
But I did read a lot in the post that if there's problem with the order, then result are really hit or miss.

I've ordered this, car transporter, and the bugatti. The boxes all came in immaculate condition and much faster than expected

I ordered the Porsche 911 RSR and it came in 4 days in perfect condition. However, the packaging is not as good/secure as I typically get from Amazon, so I can see how it can get damaged if mishandled. Overall, I'm happy and would buy from them again.

Ya 75 percent of mine show up in great packaging and then some in ok packaging and one or two in skimpy cheap packing. Just depends on the employee I guess.

I also ordered the 911 RSR from them. Same experience. Would order again.
