Excellent deal! I got mine from Nordstrom when there was a crazy cash back day, but this beats that price hands down. Wonder why this is getting discounted. Only saw the older models at this price.
I was just saying it's the same price at Nordstrom so might as well get it from there for their generous return policy.
This is the same price at The Baby Cubby where you get 5% back as store credit. They have free shipping at ~$30 so it is actually a useable store credit. They also do not collect tax for most states. That means you can have Nordstrom's good return policy or ~$35 in store credit and ~$60 less in tax.
I would rather purchase it with a consumer Amex card with a good return policy from The Baby Cubby.
Got one (baby, our first) on the way and just started researching this stuff. I see uppababy everywhere (both outside and online) and it seems to be the Cadillac of strollers. I can't read anything specific about what makes it superior to other strollers, especially for the price...
or maybe this is like wedding spending where everything costs 10x more LOL. I'm gonna need some stimulus checks to fund this baby...
I'd like to know the same - Wirecutter suggests the Cruz model - not sure if this one is worth the extra? Any thoughts?

It really depends on how many kids you're planning on having, how far apart, your usage, and where you'll be using it, among other factors. My wife and I did LOTS of research on strollers (there are so many out there) and we eventually settled on the Vista. I had a hard time with the price tag initially. We are expecting our first child any day now and are planning on having 3 kids (we'll see if that changes later on).
The Vista is supposed to have very good maneuverability, it is convertible from single to double, it is a travel system (works with car seats), has wheels for more rugged terrain (not extremely rough but will hold up on gravel and dirt), is durable, and folds easily. From what I can tell, the fold is relatively compact for a convertible stroller. Not tiny by any means but does fold smaller than other convertible travel systems.
This checked all the boxes for us. Decide what you're looking for in a stroller and if this works for you, this is a great price. Additionally, the secondary market on these is really good if you ever want to sell it.
Lastly, Amazon baby registry has a 10% completion discount (15% for prime) that is valid on the Vista. You must follow the terms to get the discount (be within 60 days before to 60 days after the due date, and have been 14 days since you opened the registry). They have the older model available in charcoal (Jordan) for $770. While this is more, with our completion discount, it came out to $655. We just placed our order yesterday morning. From what I understand, the new version only has minor updates and new colors. I was happy to get the older version.
I have the vista V1, its amazing. It's like a cadillac, just so smooth and nice to use. I waited for a deal but it never came and we ran out of time. 5/5 stars worth the cost.

I have a bunch of kids. I bought this for my first who is now 8 (older model obviously). They are sturdy and smooth to push. Bassinet is nice. We used ours with the uppababy stand until baby was ready to transition to a crib. Citimini is not as smooth to push but sturdy and cheaper (iirc).

Why are you returning it. This is a good deal.
It is listed as pre-order on Nordstrom, while it's in stock other places. Which is another reason someone may not buy from Nordstrom.
I would rather purchase it with a consumer Amex card with a good return policy from The Baby Cubby.

Anyway, sorry for the long post. Hope this helps some people who are struggling with the price tag and trying to decide if it's the right fit.
