Was strolling through the Walmart games section the other day and came across Strange Brigade for $1.00!
YMMV, but here's the game listing on Brickseek[brickseek.com].
This game was average at best, glad I borrowed from the library. But for a dollar I would give it another try. Story was decent, but the gameplay wasn't anything special. Really wanted to like it because of the way it tries to make you feel like your in an adventure movie, but there was nothing besides that that made me want to keep playing.
On that note I just checked and its in stock in Fayetteville, NC. So if any Ft. Bragg Soldiers are looking go get it.
It's good not great. Kinda the same thing over and over. Its basically zombie army without the sniper rifles and bullet time. But for a buck? It's worth it then times over.
Thought this game would be fun, boy was I wrong. Boring, frustrating, my Steam playtime says 44 minutes before I quit. Hard to argue with $1 but I wouldn't pay any more than that for it.
That's the online price from a third party seller. Use the Brickseek link to check the prices in Walmart stores by you. The $1 price is an IN STORE price. I picked up a copy last month for $7. Same store reduced the other 3 copies to $1. I ended up buying all of them. Probably give a copy to my one friend I've known since high school and send the others to buddies of mine on PSN.
By the way this isn't the only cheaper priced game at Walmart. I've picked up a bunch of games for between $1 (this game) to $5 (Prey and Dishonored 2) to $7 (Yakuza 6 and Yakuza Kiwami 2) to $9 (Concrete Genie, Everspace and Shenmue III) to $11 (Bee Simulator) to $15 (Code Vein). There's even other titles like Control and Greedfall for as low as $15 at some stores.
