Empty canisters with very easy open and close-well sealed lid can be used as storage. Will also reduce environmental impact from garbage pickup and buying storage products plus will save you

Yeah, the empties are great for adding some extra bulk for the freezer too. They freeze up without bursting when filled to around 1-2" from the top. The square-ish shape stacks efficiently too.

Really depends on you, you'll just have to go out there and buy different kinds of roasts and brands to see what you like. I don't mind cheap brands like this and foldgers as long as it's a dark roast, but some people say these suck. Just check your local grocery stores every week for the more expensive brands, there's always coffee on sale.

Funny. I don't mind cheap brands (or expensive), but only if they're *not* dark roast 😁. Ah, humans. We mostly agree coffee is awesome, but WHICH coffee is where the wars begin!

If you measure your coffee by scoops, light roasted coffee will have more caffeine. Since the beans are denser than a darker roast. However if you weigh out your scoops, darker roasts will have more caffeine, because there is less mass. What should also be noted is that Arabica beans vary in levels of caffeine depending on the plant species.
And, as we know from our caffeine basics the amount of caffeine in a cup of coffee is so minimal, we might not even notice the difference.
It's ALL about your matter of taste. I'd always heard that lighter roasts had more caffeine than darker roasts. And while that's true, it's not enough to make a difference. Unless you're one of those people who drink that swill, called Starbucks! Wink
