-The case is tiny and lightweight. Like, much smaller than you'd realize when you think "tower computer." It's about a foot square on the side.
-The motherboard is nonstandard as well. The front ports and power switch are actually part of motherboard itself.
-The power supply is teeny-tiny, but if you must, they do make a gaming version of this tower so there is a 400W(?) power supply available you could track down. Good enough for a 1650 or whatever.
-It does have room for two 3.5" hard drives.
I've noticed a lot of the computer threads on Slickdeals immediately turn into "How can I build this into a GAMING MONSTER?" conversations. Realize some computers just aren't designed for that, period. A PC doesn't necessarily suck because you can't drop a GTX2080 into it.
Although I will say that as far as small towers with poor expansion, these little HPs are a worse value than SFF Optiplexes or whatever just based on the build quality I've observed.
The spec sheet says it's an NVMe drive.

Why does power supply matter ? Sorry newbie here
If you plan to do anything other than normal computing (games) you will need a much more powerful power supply.

Just want to ask a follow up question on your comment - I thought the real issue with the limited power supply is upgrading , not running games in existing configuration. I was under the impression that the current power supply is adequate to support the games or other intensive task that the hardware is designed to handle. Is that not the case ?
It can run the basic games the current processor without an add-on graphics card can handle. But the non standard power supply makes this a deal breaker because all good GPUs require a more powerful power supply.
You are correct in your impression, however keep in mind that this particular hardware is quite crippled when it comes to anything other than very basic gaming. Soon you will find yourself wishing for a more powerful video card, and that's where you will run into problems without a strong power supply

This is very likely not an NMVE drive, but an SATA based M2 drive, if it's like the other ones HP shoehorned into previous builds.
You're basically spending $600 on a launching off point to a good system, but it could easily run you an extra $600 to get this where you'd expect it (fast nvme drive, adequate psu, graphics card, decent motherboard, decent ram).
