This looks like a great deal on a fantastic case! I'm using one of these in my primary workstation, not a sharp corner on it, nice dust filters on all of the intakes, plenty of room for all kinds of liquid cooling or mass storage...extremely flexible, I really like mine.

Have been using this case for my build for about 2+ years now and only complaints are the top cover doesn't fit snugly and one of the front USB-A's isn't powered. I'm assuming I just sucked at building the PC but it's the perfect size for my desk. Plenty of room to build in, easy to open up to clean and a lot of air flow.

I have a similar case to this one for 3-5 years and also can say the same - one of my USB ports do not work.

Make sure you factor in the 2 extra fans. Unless you REALLY like the looks this case no longer makes sense. Pop air is $90 with all fans.

fyi I have this case for years while its great the headphone jack portion has failed twice!, I emailed them they sent me a new board for it (super easy to replace) but then it failed again about a year or so later.. granted I cant really hate them for it because this was all way outside of warranty..

I have this case and love it. The monstrously long 6800 fits in there with some finagling. You can also remove the HDD bay in the floor and put a fan under there to feed cool air vertically into your graphics card.

Thinking on getting one of these, plus one of those cheap refurbished or recertified Dell computers. Would the Dell Mobo and PSU fit in one of these? Thinking of putting a cheap NAS together and run UnRaid or TrueNas.

Thinking about it for a few more seconds, I would still have to buy a PSU as I doubt the one from Dell would be able to handle 6 hard drives.

FWIW if you're buying a mid-tower case and you have relatively high power components just know that air cooling is suddenly becoming a problem for both AMD and Intel systems.

Today I finally swapped out my 5900X/6800XT build from a mid-tower because a Noctua NH-U12S with the secondary fan attached couldn't keep the CPU cool during heavy load no matter the paste amount/layout/type or fan profile. I've been chasing the problem for weeks with many paste changes and factory resets of all components to no avail. I even used a spare Wraith cooler with the same result. I was getting creep up to 95C and my video card wasn't far off under load. I had all six fan slots in an ASUS TUF Gaming GT301 case populated with high quality Antec fans. Simply put, there isn't enough volume of air for air cooling to work well. This combination was adequate for an overclocked Ryzen 2700 (@4.1Ghz) and 6650XT but not what I'm running now.

I switched to an $80 Musetek case (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CP7SQ58Z) and a $65 360mm Thermalright AIO cooler https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BKK78R71) with Arctic Ceramique 2 paste, along with 5 of the Antec fans and suddenly I can't make the CPU go past 70C under a stress test nor does the GPU break 78C during full continuous load.

This CPU only uses 105w and I'm not overclocking. Many AMD and Intel CPUs are actually pulling 250-425w now and I don't see how midsize cases with heatsink cooling is adequate anymore. I didn't seem to have this problem when I was overclocking Piledriver CPUs on cheap coolers but I also didn't have a higher end power hungry GPU paired with it. Did I simply miss that "quality" heatsink/fan combos aren't cutting it?

I bought the Torrent and didn't realize that I might need those HDD slots. If I chose again I would choose this over torrent for the practicality.

I've been using this on my main (built 2018) and it's a pretty serviceable case.

Some positives:
  • The tinted glass is nice because it keeps the interior subdued, so when I look at it all i see are the subdued RGB, while the components themselves are near invisible.
  • The panels all come off easily, so accessing most of this case is a breeze. Some of the cable management was tricky, but it holds everything fairly well.

Some negatives (nitpicks):
  • The open front panel can get noisy because there is ZERO sound dampening (obviously) and the air being pilled through the plastic mesh can create a mild vacuuming suction sound while the fans work.
  • The front mic and headphone jack are easy to mix up unless you're looking at it in plenty of light. Would have been nicer if there were some tactile bumps or color indicators that were clearer at a glance.
  • The front buttons (like power) feel cheap, but "clicky")
  • Too cramped for a lot of liquid cooling solutions (I use air and heat pipes)
  • The only top cover included is mesh, which means you will get plenty of dust and harder to control airflow.
  • I've never been able to use the front side USB ports because they short every time I pop in a thumb drive or controller receiver.
  • The HDD light is on the opposite side of the window, and recessed behind the front mesh, making it impossible to see without leaning over to look directly into it.
Despite my gripes it is a fine case. The lack of sound dampening inherent to the design is my biggest problem.

I've had this case for 2.5 years (paid 129.99 for it). Sound dampening is good, air filters rock, the cord management stuff is awesome, air flow design seems good. I have noticed some rusting but I do run a humidifier 24/7. The front door / rest of the case is pretty dusty and it's in places I can't just wipe off like some of the other cases but it doesn't really bother me.

Great case, 4.5/5, will probably buy again when I upgrade soonish

Shame about the window. Wondering if the Pop Air would work for me.
