I just price matched with Apple directly (had leftover gift cards). I told the CSR I wanted to price match Micro Center and he did it instantly. No asking for URL, no confirmation of location, no in-stock requirement, just took 10% off and that was it.

Bestbuy wouldn't price match with microcenter in the store. But did online and paid then went pick it up.


If you have bestbuy plus membership, then it would be $899-$50 + tax.

When I was doing price match via chat with no issue (18miles away from MC and BB). By the time I was almost done. I was already at the Best Buy store. decided to just price match in store so I don't have to wait for an hr. Turned out they straight out said "we don't price match microcenter". They were surprised I was able to price match it online. So I ended up completing transaction via chat.

I've had zero issues in the past in store. I mean you can see the Microcenter from the Best Buy parking lot here.

When you do price match online, they would send you a link at the end to pay. I am assuming you can use points?

They lied to you. From the the Best Buy website. Also notice Costco is listed in there as I've seen people comment they have had issues with that as well.

Yeah online had no issue, unless local store has certain distance. Or just don't wanna deal with price match customers lol

Education (homeschool) discount directly from Apple Store = same price
Order directly from Apple and get it delivered.

To each their own but according to this https://www.macworld.com/article/...-sale.html they only gave away $100 GCs last year - to my math 10% is both worth more for iPads above $1K and doesn't lock me into Apple as a cash incentive. Apple could increase the back to school incentive but that is the gamble
