3. 2024 13" Air just 60Hz and LED - worst display of the 3. - many assumed the display will be same as 2022 13 iPad pros but. nope.... no such luck. Apple continued to use the lower quality display on the Air
I should say that the 2024 M4 iPad Pro (13" or 11") has the best display of any portable device in the world right now at these size range.
I say at this size range in case people say they want 27" which would be a different comparison.
Just go the Apple and do compare ipad if you want to see every spec compared

I don't think iPad had as much discount since the starting price is much lower.
Same structure EDU M2 AIr is only $50 off while EDU M4 iPad pro is $100 off right now already. Higher ticket item = more discount so I think M2 Air won't get as much love as other devices during back to school

You would need to purchase either an Apple Pencil usb-C (which lacks pressure sensitivity effects) or the Apple Pencil Pro.
I know it because my iPad air 5th gen feels slower and choppier than my 3rd gen iPad Pro 12.9 with an A12X chip.
the chip does feel slow. Sucks that my iPad Mini is the fastest iPad I have and it's already 3 years old with the worst display.
I have the FOMO to just "upgrade" to newer gear though.
