Add $150 for new control board to get rid of annoying pull back at 8mph and another $50 for larger tires so this slug goes over 10mph. If you are willing to spend that, it is actually worth it. Otherwise, there are better options.

Seems like a good deal. Better than previous 5 star deal. I guess people aren't happy with Segway / Ninebot customer service.

I got my swallowbot circuit board for $100 for my mini pro. I guess they raised the price. The new circuit board is great. No larger tires needed to go 15mph.

They came out with a software version of the speed increase. No need to switch out the board. Easier & cheaper.

edit: Finally was able to get Segway on the phone after 11 calls throughout today. Basically if you call them they will honor the $369.99 price and they also allowed me to stack the welcome20 discount bringing it down to $350. They did say though I had to call back though once I receive it to have the refund received.

For the sake of curiosity, could you name some alternatives? I was previously looking into e-skateboards until I realized that they aren't actually that practical due to balance requirements and that they don't work that well with inclines or uneven surfaces. (Although honestly I still secretly want an e-skateboard.)

Decent but underpowered. I got 1 of these with a go kart kit from a different slick deal.

Price is too high in my opinion. But these are way better and more convenient than the go kart kit.

At all costs stay away from the go kart kit. So not worth the expense or Waste of space.

escooters at this price point have better specs, have similar or lighter weight and the foldable ones are just as portable. Look at some from Xiaomi. For exmaple, the Mi Electric Scooter has an 18.6 Miles Long-range Battery, can go faster (they say up to 15.5 MPH) and is foldable. The price is generally about $399.
