No SSD, no sale. And an older CPU too. If they knock off $50, this will sell like hot cakes. At this price, you might as well wait for the next sale on a 10th gen CPU + SSD.

Don't care about not having an SSD - Dell overprices it. I'd rather keep the 1TB and use it as a 2nd drive and add an NVME.

But this being a 9th gen is a deal breaker..

Not the best price, not the best parts, not the best company

Truly a lukewarm deal. There's better out there. The truth is this machine lands right in the middle between 2 demographics. It's overpowered & overpriced for casual computer users (browse internet, use word, play candy crush) but it's underpowered for gamers, who will need to put $300-$500 more into it before it can play their games (SSD + GFX card + RAM).

So it's just not a good system for anyone except the business power user, or someone looking to get rid of $500 quickly.

Don't care about no SSD. Can buy 256gb for $25 bucks. But look at the USB 2.0 in the back lol and no ac WiFi. Would be deal if $100 cheaper.

all the laptop deals posted are of high end laptops. all the desktop deals posted are of underpowered desktops. seems backwards.

Bought basically the same specs on an Acer desktop for 399 in April. Don't see this as much of a deal.

Jesus Dell...really? It's been ages since you guys had an actual "deal". Would love to upgrade a few systems - but the one's I have still work well enough.

Don't forget AMEX has $100 offer, sweetens the deal a little bit.
