Mine arrived with a few chips. Amazing it wasn't more considering they were just plastic wrapped and not boxed. One also has a very small crack.

Good enough to try and decide whether you want to invest in nicer enameled cast iron.

I bought these last year at Sam's club when they were on clearance and they've been great for just about everything. A few stains but the ename itself is fine

Did you miss the word "exactly?" They're both cast iron coated with enamel, so it's fair to wonder precisely what corners are cut. Lighter construction? Much thinner enamel?

Went OOS just as I was trying to checkout. It said 1 left, but I added to cart and 5sec later trying to check out it said that quantity no longer available.

Missed it but possibly blessing in disguise. Smilie

I didn't pull the trigger. I didn't have a need and there are always deals. Sometimes you have to pass on a few to buy something else later

I actually did place an order and it already arrived today. Only time will tell, but they look gorgeous with no chips or imperfections in the enamel. The skillets are definitely not lightweight. And l have no doubt that they're actually made out of iron. Obviously made in China but whatever. Cast iron cooking isn't about precision, so the iron is plenty good enough.

I got a full refund on mine for chips on the large pan. Asked to dispose of them. Shame, I really wanted to use these, but the chips on the bottom of the pan ruins it. Small one is fine though.
